About the assessment
This assessment checks how ready your Pardot setup is to move to HubSpot. Seventeen questions across five areas: how your data is structured, how well the current setup is documented, the decisions you've already made, who's involved, and the state of your data.
In about five minutes you'll get a readiness tier and, more useful, a breakdown of which specific things in your setup will make the move straightforward and which need attention first. You'll see where the real work is before you commit to a timeline, not midway through a build.
No email needed to see your results. If you want a copy to share or come back to, we'll send it along with a planning guide.
Pardot migration readiness FAQ
Do I have to leave Salesforce to move from Pardot to HubSpot?
No. Plenty of teams run HubSpot's marketing tools on top of Salesforce as the system of record, the same way Pardot does today. HubSpot's Salesforce integration is included at no additional cost in its Professional and Enterprise editions, and it keeps the two systems in sync. Moving off Pardot and moving off Salesforce are two separate decisions, and this assessment is only about the first one.
How long does a Pardot to HubSpot migration take?
It depends on how your setup is built, which is exactly what this assessment surfaces. A simple, clean, well-documented setup can move in four to six weeks. The more workflows, integrations, and customization you have, the more there is to analyze and rebuild, even when it's all well-documented. The things that stretch a timeline, like Person Accounts, custom objects, multiple business units, and heavy automation, are the ones the assessment flags for you. It also weighs your readiness against the timeline you're targeting, so you'll know how well prepared you are for the move you actually want to make.
What do I need to prepare before migrating?
The assessment covers this directly, but the essentials: know how your data is structured in Salesforce and Pardot, have your automations and their dependencies documented, settle the key decisions like what counts as a qualified lead, and know who owns the work on both the Salesforce and Pardot sides. The clearer you are on these before you start, the smoother the build. We've put the full prep checklist into a planning workbook you can , so you can work through it at your own pace.
What's the hardest part of a Pardot to HubSpot migration?
Usually it's the things that don't map one-to-one. Salesforce campaign member statuses and Person Accounts don't have direct HubSpot equivalents, so they need rethinking rather than copying. The other common one is undocumented automation: if nobody knows exactly what the current setup does, recreating it effectively is the real work. The assessment flags which of these apply to you.
Will I lose my historical data and reporting?
Not if you plan for it. Your records, fields, lists, and past form submissions can all move with planning. Engagement-level activity like individual email opens and clicks is a different story: that data is tied up in Pardot's own tracking and generally doesn't migrate cleanly. But that's usually not what you actually need. What matters is the scoring and grading that tell you how engaged and how well-fit a prospect is, and those carry into HubSpot as engagement and fit scores, so you don't lose visibility into your most engaged or best-fit prospects.
What does this assessment cost, and what happens after I finish it?
The assessment is free, and you don't need to give an email to see your results. At the end you'll get your readiness tier and the full breakdown on screen. If you want, you can have your results and a planning guide sent to you, and book a call to walk through what the move would look like for your setup. No obligation either way.
Can I migrate from Pardot to HubSpot myself, or do I need help?
You could. What to weigh is how well you know the new platform. A clean migration means matching your current functionality in HubSpot, understanding how it behaves differently, and spotting where you could actually improve a process or use more of what HubSpot offers rather than just recreating what you had. The other factor is capacity: the analysis, design, and migration work all have to fit around your team's day jobs. If either the platform knowledge or the bandwidth is thin, that's usually where outside help earns its place.
We're not planning to move until next year. Is it too early to do this?
Not at all. Earlier is better. The assessment surfaces gaps in your documentation and process, and the harder questions you'll want time to think through rather than decide under pressure mid-migration. Running it now gives you room to plan around what you find, so when the move does happen, it goes as smoothly as possible.
